Formed in Brazil in the early 80's, Sepultura emerged to become one of the godfathers of metal. Sepultura released their first full length album Morbid Visions, released in 1985, showed a glimpse of what was to come from the band. "Troops of Doom" was the most notable song on the record and became somewhat of an anthem for Sepultura for years to come. Schizophrenia which debuted in 1987 showed that Sepultura was far more than a one hit wonder. The songs "From the Past Comes the Storms" and "Escape to the Void" contained blazing guitar work and the epic 7+ minute "Inquisition Symphony" displayed their dynamic range.
